I find both of these to be mutually supportive.
If you do not pay attention to your thoughts, the Way is lost.
Agree with both. Though in my opinion, sadly those who are unlikely to lose the way, will pay attention to it all, and those who need the help, do not know nor understand enough to heed the wise words.
